ACT 1 SYNOPSIS

The curtain opens with Angel Gabriel singing of Giselle Coralli. She is an actress in Power Horse, a film directed by Albrecht Silesia and produced by Hilarion Gautier which has been nominated for Best Picture at the Monte Carlo Film Awards. At the lobby of the Hotel de Paris, Giselle reflects on her visit to Monte Carlo. Prince Wilfred & Princess Berthe of Monaco arrive and they leave together.

At the gardens behind the Monte Carlo Casino, Albrecht and his fiance, Bathilda Courland, host a private party for the cast of Power Horse. Hilarion Gautier makes a toast and Albrecht gives a speech. Giselle arrives and meets Albrecht.

Sandor Michelangelo, a paparazzi for the Hollywood Reporter, begins to take photographs of Myrta Fleury, the Russian supermodel who is best friends with Bathilda. He speaks with her and asks her for an exclusive interview later that evening, which she accepts.

At the Monte Carlo Film Awards, a host and hostess present international rock sensation Smirnov and the Monte Carlo Ballet who perform "Funky Angel." The hostess opens the envelope for best picture and declares Power Horse the winner.

Giselle and Albrecht meet for the second time at a reception being held at the Hotel de Paris. Sandor arrives looking for Myrta which he finds, interviews and later serenades.

Bathilda and Albrecht leave together and go back home. Having had too much to drink, they fall asleep on the floor and dream of Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe. The curtain closes.

ACT 2 SYNOPSIS

The curtain opens with Angel Gabriel playing the piano and singing on Rue de Monaco. The backdrop flies out to reveal Giselle packing her suitcase at the Hotel de Paris as she prepares to fly back to London. Albrecht arrives unexpectedly with a gift. Giselles welcomes him in, when suddenly Hilarion also arrives. Not wanting to be seen, Albrecht hides from Hilarion. Giselle manages to usher Hilarion out and Albrecht leaves.

On his way home, Albrecht stops by a church to reflect about his feelings. A mysterious man named Magician Loys appears and makes him an offer. He tells Albrecht that he can give him anything he wants in life in exchange for his soul. Thinking of Giselle, Albrecht agrees and shakes hands with Loys.

Immediately, the church disappears and is replaced by a golden ballroom. The Ringmaster and Margarita stand at it's center. Giftbearers appear and dance for Albrecht. The last performer removes her mask to reveal Giselle. Loys makes her the same offer he had made to Albrecht, but she refuses it because Albrecht is with Bathilda. Loys becomes angry and threatens Giselle, but Albrecht intervenes and helps her escape.

Winessing Albrecht help Giselle, Bathilda, Myrta and Wilis turn on him and drug him. Albrecht falls unconscious and has a vision. Suddenly, whistles and shouting can be heard as Inspector Jacques and Officer Paris of the Monaco Police, Giselle, Princess Berthe and Prince Wilfred burst on the scene. Quickly, Detective Jacques figures out what has just happened to Albrecht who remains unconscious on the floor. He also arrests Loys, Margarita and The Ringmaster, as part of a Russian mafia ring. Suddenly, Sandor bursts into the room and in front of everyone proposes to Myrta. She accepts his proposal and everyone becomes excited.
